Is it a cheat to say “lifestyle” and really for this to be a catch all that isn’t travel or home?
I think I’ll be able to live with it.
My third and final favourite is really self-improvement in all its various guises.
I’m a sucker for a a self-help book whether it’s The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin or Marie Kondo’s bestseller. I tend not to be overtly rigorous in their implementation, but prefer to pick out the gems in each.
I read them because I do find them rather inspiring.
Though I can take parts of them with a pinch of salt, I firmly believe that positive thinking and proactivity are key elements to being happy in life, and if you are kind and “out there” a bit then some good is going to eventually come of it. I’m not one for sitting round and twiddling my thumbs. I’d much rather be “doing” than not so I tend to always be found working on a project, or streamlining or planning.
Relaxation is not my forte but I made peace with that long ago! There’s so much to do and so little time!
